We know that many of you may be experiencing the impact of the Coronavirus already or will be worried about what it could mean over the coming weeks. As always, our priority is taking care of our members, our customers and our colleagues – so here is some practical information to help us manage through these difficult times.

We have therefore implemented the a number of changes to help protect our visitors, members, customers and our colleagues:​

Visiting the Clubhouse

The bar remains open but all organised functions are cancelled/postponed, including the March quiz night and the Spanish Gourmet evening.

  • Please don’t visit the club or course if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19. You need to stay at home

  • The showers are closed and the towels will be removed from the locker rooms. Extra cleaning will take place

  • Some tables and chairs will be removed to increase the distance between each member. The government advice is that you should stay 2 metres apart

On the course:

  • The on-course toilet by the first tee will be closed until further notice

  • All rakes have been removed

  • All bunkers are now GUR until further notice

  • All hole cups are upside down to minimise contact with the cup and flag

  • Try not to touch the flagstick or flag, do not tend the flag

  • Leave the flag in the hole all the time and please remove your ball carefully

  • Only pick up your own ball

  • Keep your distance - at least 2 metres apart

  • Do not share any equipment, such as golf clubs or rangefinders

  • Avoid any contact with playing partners

  • Don’t shake hands before or after your game

  • Please do not sit on, or touch the benches on the course

  • Use your club to 'ring' the bells on holes 2, 3, 11 and 12

  • Avoid touching the hand rail on holes 3 and 12

  • Change your shoes in the car park

  • Wash your hands thoroughly after your game
